About Dr. David Cook

David Cook, Ph.D. is one of the country’s top peak performance consultants and seminar leaders.

He served as mental training coach for the San Antonio Spurs, helping them to two NBA championships. Golf Digest recently named him one of the “top 10 sport psychologists” in golf. He has counseled teams from the NBA, the NFL, MLB, the Olympics, and collegiate national champions, plus over 100 PGA players. His business clients include numerous Fortune 500 companies and many others.

David bridges the gap between the sports and business. Besides speaking and coaching, he is known for his creative leadership adventure retreats that incorporate golf or wilderness adventures.

David received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1980. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1984. He is married to Karen and has two daughters. They live in the Hill Country of Texas.
